I Found this quote on one of my train trips to Ballerup. It is from Robert Laughlin , the 1998 Nobel Prize winner in physics. Laughlin argues for a concept called ‘emergence’ which states:

Simplicity

"Linux is simple. It just takes a genius to understand its simplicity."

I singe all my mails with this quote. It have been my punchline for years, and my company hate me for doing it :-), but I would never change it. I know that it is a alteration of Dennis MacAlistair Ritchie's original quote, there sound "UNIX is basically a simple operating system, but you have to be a genius to understand the simplicity." I just change it, a little, but isn't that what OpenSource is all about...
